OUR STORY
Our brothers have coined 2018 “The Year of Jenn and Sean” and as two middle children we are MORE than happy to have all the attention on us as we get married!
Our love story began in New York City when Sean asked an old Duke friend to set him up with his food blogging cousin, Jennifer. Sean was impressed with her photos of fried chicken & truffle fondue and knew he could sweep her off her feet if she saw his posts about finishing a few marathons… If only he knew then that a big fear of Jenn’s was marrying into a family that runs 10k on holidays!
Jenn tested Sean by keeping him out on dates past his 9pm bedtime and we soon bonded over our love of family, food and of course, rosé. It wasn’t long before we were attending the Annual Chaplin July 4th celebration as well as Conor & Kara’s wedding together on back to back weekends. While Sean hasn’t quite gotten over triple bogeying the first 3 holes he played with Jenn’s brothers and Dad on July 4th he knew as he was twirling Jenn around the dance floor at the wedding that he had found his one and only. The look in Jenn’s eyes that night had stolen his heart forever!
We have traveled the world together – Sean yearning to uncover ancient histories in Europe – Jenn searching for the best instapost of Mochi Ice Cream in Japan. We have reached the top of Aspen Mountain together – Sean by hiking at 6am – Jenn by gondola in time for breakfast. We have moved cities together – Sean loving Jenn’s hometown of Miami Beach – Jenn missing Sean’s hometown of New York City.
Yes we have different styles but our goal is always the same; being together and making the other smile! With each experience our love and the life we are building together grow. We are so excited for our special day and cannot be more appreciative you will be there to celebrate with us!
